Hassle-free installation with augmented reality
Years ago, we began equipping our locations around the world with the latest 360-degree laser scanners. We use this to measure your preferred data and then use BIM tools to prepare the data into a digital twin, which we then load into a Microsoft HoloLens.
The entire installation is superimposed onto the actual on-site situation with the help of augmented reality. Installations and equipment are discussed with the customer and fitment, clearances, collisions, etc. are checked. This allows changes to be made even before parts are ordered or built.
This 1:1 visualization of the design in the real facility through augmented reality has proven to be the perfect tool to develop a common understanding with our customers on how the future installation will be integrated into the building. Prefabrication has been raised to a new level and rework is successfully avoided.
