In the construction industry, safety remains number one priority for many companies. Over the years, Kinetics has continued to focus on integrating the safety process into all aspects of the business as a "core value", not a "priority". Systems integration remains at the core of the Kinetics success and has allowed us to maintain a higher than industry-average safety performance for the past 9 years.

Our continuous commitment to maintaining high safety standards, not only at work but in our everyday lives, produces tremendous results.  Kinetics' EMR rates have consistently been lower than the industry average. The following table demonstrates 5-year EMR comparison rates.

The following rates have been calculated in accordance with record keeping Guidelines for Occupational Injuries and Illnesses under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (29USC651) and 29 CFR Part 1904.

Three years ago, Kinetics developed a process, Beyond Zero, that goes beyond accident/incidents prevention, regulations/standards, Behavior Base Safety, and focuses on improving the physical environment and empowering all employees to make lifestyle decisions based on proper risk assessments and core values.

"Beyond Zero" is not another "safety" program, policy, buzzword, flavor of the month nor is it a focus on the number of "Injuries".  The Beyond Zero philosophy is intended to increase the focus on improving physical and environmental risk factors, and processes that control or eliminate defects.  This concept is further driven by care and respect for each other as human beings and draws on core values to form new habits.

This philosophy is our corporate identity that nurtures personal safety responsibility, inspires continuous improvement, and focuses on creating an environment where safety happens by choice.
